Chhattisgarh once was known only as the Rice Bowl of India. Today, the large forest, mineral and human resources of Chhattisgarh have made this State the preferred destination for business and industry. Limestone, iron ore, bauxite, tin, granite the list of minerals is endless. Apart from timber like teak and sal, Chhattisgarh is a store-house of over fifty different non-timber forest produces.
